GottaRent
GottaRent is a Canadian rental marketplace. We redesigned it and moved the codebase off a broken stack onto Next.js. Then search: a 15-point technical audit in May 2026, and 100 blog posts recovered from a dead subdomain. Impressions went from 370 in March 2026 to 25,479 in August, 69x in six months.

The Challenge
Broken, out-of-date code made the site slow and every change slower. Search was worse: the blog subdomain was off, taking 100 posts with it; pages rendered in quirks mode; shared listings came through as bare links. In March 2026 the whole site drew 370 impressions.
Our Solution
We redesigned the marketplace onto a modern Next.js stack, then ran 15 technical checks in May 2026: doctype fixed so pages render in standards mode, Open Graph and Twitter cards added, the blog republished with its own sitemap. The 100 lost posts came back out of the Wayback Machine, and 100 new Ontario neighborhood articles are going up now.
